Novel believes that going to the beach is fun and putting your bathing suit on should be too. Our line of swim, activewear, and accessories is rooted in its bright and cheeky print design, so women can make waves in our one-of-a-kind bold and tropical prints. We're proud to be women owned, minority owned, ethically made, and locally manufactured in New York. We believe the beach is for the people, and everyone should feel comfortable, confident, and chic in and out of the water.

DESIGNED AND MADE IN NEW YORK

We produce our goods ethically and locally in New York City's Garment District. We believe that good karma starts at the first stitch and makes for a happier, more beautiful swimsuit.

Have you touched our fabrics? They're soft. We globally source our fabrics to get you the softest, best quality materials. We use a local state of art digital printer to produce our very own one-of-a-kind textiles.

Most of our solid outer and lining fabrics are not only cute as heck, but also made from recycled Nylon yarns. They also feature added chlorine, pilling, and sunscreen resistance, so they have a longer life span. More time on the bod = less time in a landfill.

WE LOVE TRAVELING, ART, AND DESIGN JUST AS MUCH AS WE LOVE A GOOD BEACH SUNSET.

Laura Paulino Rosenbaum is the designer of Novel Swim. She is known for her cheeky illustration style. Before launching her line, she consulted and illustrated for brands, retailers, and magazines in the fashion and design world.

“The Caribbean is in my blood—literally, my mother was born in the Dominican Republic—so I’ve always had a deep love for the ocean. As a native New Yorker, I’ve been surrounded by great art, fantastic design, and the very best of the fashion world my whole life. I combined these loves when I created Novel.”
